I'm trying to learn how NSFileManger works and I want to test out some methods with files that i have created. Let say the file name is called "testFile". Now the question is where do i put the file, in which folder? I tried the fileExistsAtPath method and it keeps giving me the file does not exist message. By the way, im using Xcode 4

This discussion has me a bit confused. I don't own an ipod, so forgive my lack of knowledge.

1. If I buy itms tracks, can I burn them to a CD and play them on a CD player?
2. If I own a CD, can rip it to itunes and then play it on an ipod?

Yes, Parallels and VMware are better products, but that is not the point. Has no one else noticed the number of products Microsoft is canceling for the Mac. I do not believe that Microsoft sees a market for the Macintosh. This of course is purely a business perspective.

I for one think Apple will be taught a lesson in respect. The only logical solution is to kill off Mac Office universal binary support. If they want to run on the Intel platform, they can run on emulation.

It would not be much of a loss if Microsoft decided to pull the plug. Don't think they haven't taught about it. A three percent market share or 19 million desktop users does not even come close to the numbers that still use Windows 2000, never mind Windows 98. I of course don't wish this to happen, but it is one logical outcome.

There are drivers, the OS just does a good job hiding them from you. ;)

Check out the "Print Center" app in your Applications/Utilities folder to add the printer. It should set it up automatically if the printer is connected correctly and turned on.

I had just dropped my wife off for work and was going to meet a photographer at a coffee shop to discuss an upcoming shoot. I had just heard about the plane hitting the first tower before I met with the photographer. He had just heard the same thing. We both thought it was a small aircraft like a Cessna and joked about it a bit - thinking it was a dumb pilot. We then saw the events unfold on the TV in the coffee shop. I immediately called my wife and told her I was coming to pick her up - she said they were closing the office anyway. We went home and called our family and friends in NYC to make sure they were OK. We were glued to the TV all day watching the tragic events.

Personally, I would say,If you want to design a new Mac Website, just do it !

I have my own websites and do it for the fun of doing it.

I don't think you can oversaturate the Mac market. If people like your new site then they will come back, start small and personal and you should get some visitors.

Have a think of what interests you and work from that, I personally use my experience from working with Mac's for so long; and so one of my sites is a help forum: you can put up what ever you want that's the fun bit, if you don't like it or get no visitors you can always change it.

The simple answer is dont use photoshop Im afraid! It does a really poor job of consistent spacing and cornering.

You'd be far better using illustrator for this, or InDesign/QuarkXPress will manage clean and precise dotted/dashed lines too.

If you don't have access to those, and you must use PS, the only options you have is to play with the spacing under "Brush Tip Shape" in the big Brushes Palette, and you could also tweak the Angle Jitter setting under Shape Dynamics.

"Direction" will cause the orientation of the brushtip shape to follow the direction of the line you'rre drawing or the path you're stroking.

When you installed 06.15, you read the warning saying that you will never be able to install stock FW again until a higher BB than 06.15 comes out, right?

The closest you can come is to create a custom FW that does not include Cydia.

Hey Coleman, I have a jailbroken iPad 1. Is there some way that I can download that original ipa? I know how to remove the DR. I can even upload the DRM-stripped ipa to a fileshare site. I just realllllly want to use this on VPN.

I used to have this wallpaper years ago, never saved it but did love it.

I've used: Ghost Armor, Wrapsol, Invisible Shield and BodyGuardz and I can say with complete honesty they are all nearly the same.

Invisible Shield tended to be the most 'orange peel' like, but other than that they are all the same product for the most part, just different cuts.

I'll put it this way, I would order from any of the companies again, they've all provided great support/warranty service, and I was satisfied with all of them.

With that said, every one of the products tends to come off after awhile (usually 6-9 months) but I would always just pay the 2-3$ and get a replacement.
